What does it take to live an emotionally balanced life? What would that look like? Is it even possible to life that kind of life? We live in a society that shows no mercy when it comes to emotions. If we let our emotions show, then we are considered to be weak. If we don’t show emotions, we are cold hearted. Sometimes it seems like life is against us no matter what we do. So, how do we respond tho that? I say, just BE YOU! There is no one way to do things. Each one of us has a unique life that we are doing our best to live. Some days are better than others, but there is always something that we have to deal with. Whether it be family, friends, relationships, jobs, finances.. whatever. Our lives are full of emotional speed bumps. The best thing we can do is approach that speed bump head-on and try not to bottom out. By no means am I saying that this is an easy process. Believe me when I say, I have experience bottoming out. All I am saying is, don’t be afraid to get up in that speed bumps face and stare it down. When we face our life issues head-on, we become stronger, and that issue now becomes easier to deal with. When we choose to not deal with these issues, then they will consume our thoughts and throw our emotions completely out of balance. Life is already challenging enough. We need to be actively pursuing balance and stability in our lives so that the speed bumps now become images in our review mirror, and not something we fear will knock us around. Life is full of blessings! When we can put the issues behind us, we can them live our lives to the fullest and live in balance and peace.
